Orange City School District Teacher and Staff Award
The 36th annual Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle Staff of the Year Awards celebrated the hard work, dedication, and educational excellence of faculty and staff across the district at this year’s 2025 Staff Convocation Day in the OHS Auditorium.
Three remarkable teachers were celebrated for creating extraordinary learning experiences that inspire and engage their students. The winning teachers were Mary Endsley - Moreland Hills School Teacher of the Year, Jim De Young - Brady Middle School Teacher of the Year, and Courtnay Cirino - Orange High School Teacher of the Year. Two outstanding members of the Orange Schools Support Staff were recognized with the Staff Members of the Year Awards. This year’s honors went to OHS Guidance Registrar Sara Bargiel and bus driver Chuck SantaMaria.
Kiwanis President Dave Smercina concluded the awards ceremony with a major surprise announcement. In recognition of Staci Adelman Vincent's exceptional dedication to Orange Schools, the Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle, and the Greater Orange Schools Community, the Kiwanis Staff of the Year Awards will forever be known as the Staci Adelman Vincent Staff of the Year Awards!

Kiwanis Scholarship Recipients

Joe Davis Scholarship Award
The Joe Davis Kiwanis Club Student Liaison Service Scholarship in honor of retired Brady Middle School Principal Joe Davis and his 60+ years of service to the Kiwanis organization.
Congratulations to OHS junior Courtney Norton who was honored as the 2025/26 Joe Davis/Kiwanis Club Student Liaison! We look forward to having Courtney work with us in the year ahead!will serve as the student liaison between the Kiwanis Club, the Key Club and OHS throughout the 2024-25 school year and receive a $1000 scholarship in May of her senior year.
The 2024-25 recipient, Camryn Katz, Camryn was selected for her outstanding achievement in service.
Kiwanis Senior of the Month
Every school year, the Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle recognizes six seniors for their leadership, integrity, and academic achievements from October through March.
